Ubiquiti's USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 builds upon the previous model of FLEX-MINI switch, the USW-FLEX-MINI by featuring 5 x RJ45 ports capable of both 1 and 2.5 gigabit throughput rates for a maximum switching capacity of 12.5Gbps.. Suitable for indoor deployments, the USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 is similarly compact and low-profile, and includes illuminating LEDs denoting port status and connectivity. In addition to its switching capacity and compact frame, the USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 also comes equipped with a suite of Layer 2 switching features such as Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol to prevent ethernet looping, port isolation and mirroring and support for jumbo frames to facilitate large file transfers. The USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 can be powered either with the included USB-C PSU, or via PoE from an additional network switch to broaden the range of potential deployments.
