The Shelly Wave Mini 1PM is rated for up to 8A at 240V and is 35% smaller than its larger counterpart, the Shelly Qubino Wave 1. This means it can be installed in even the most awkward and crowded electrical boxes and light switches, and can be wired in minutes with the standard electrical wiring to grant either complete remote control via the Shelly app, or a fully customisable pre-existing physical switch. In addition to its switching features, the Wave Mini also offers precise power measurement, tracking the energy consumption of any connected devices with an accuracy of within 1%. This data can be stored both locally and in the cloud and accessed via the Shelly app, helping to cut energy waste by tracking unnecessary power usage and turning off devices if required. The Shelly Wave Mini can also support customisable smart scenes and schedules, activating and deactivating devices on a customisable schedule or in tandem with the wider Shelly and Z-Wave network. Unlike its WiFi-operated equivalent, the Shelly Mini 1PM Gen3, this device operates entirely on the Z-Wave protocol, a sub-GHz frequency known for its stability and reliable wireless connection. The Shelly Wave Mini also supports SmartStart, meaning it can be automatically detected and adopted into a wider Z-Wave network and communicate seamlessly with other Z-Wave devices from other manufacturers. This Wave Mini is fully compatible with all 4,000 Z-Wave certified devices and gateways. ***Please Note: In order to use the Shelly Wave Mini 1PM, a Z-Wave hub or gateway is required.
