However, unlike the Shelly Button 1, the Shelly BLU Button 1 operates over Bluetooth for instantaneous responsiveness and up to two-year battery life. The Shelly BLU Button 1 also has a variety of quality-of-life improvements, such as sound and light alerts as well as a 'hush' mode for silent operating, and a 'find me' function in case it's ever lost!
